Nick then joined ITV Sport as presenter of their flagship programme Midweek Sport Special. He also hosted Olympic and World Cup coverage as well as a variety of other sports programmes, including athletics and boxing.
He then went on to anchor the game shows Sporting Triangles and Hitman, as well as presenting all ITV’s Royal Premieres between 1986 and 1992.
He moved to BBC to co-present Good Morning with Anne and Nick on BBC-1 from 1992 until May 1996.
Among the other programmes he’s fronted are a quiz show for Carlton Television, a live weekly variety show for West Country Television, a live auction of Beatles’ memorabilia on satellite channels worldwide, and the BBC’s Gardener’s World Live.
Currently the anchorman for BBC Midlands Today, in his spare time he’s a self-confessed football and cricket fanatic and he also plays squash.
